Samarkanda, a restaurant with Mediterranean cuisine and avant-garde touches, is one of the brands of the Italian highway restoration giant Autogrill. Located in the Atocha train station, next to the tropical garden, it is a perfect place for business meals and make a stop before or after taking a train.
On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, in 2019 we carried out a digital campaign with 14 influencers of special relevance within the gastronomy sector to publicize the menu of February 14th.
We created the Samarkanda In Love box, and sent it to the influencers. Four of then, in addition to receiving the box, were invited to dinner at Samarkanda and try the special menu on the occasion of Valentine’s Day, which they also published on their social networks.
At the same time, we launched a paid media campaign with the same objective, to promote the restaurant menu and increase reservations in the month of February, which we called “the month of love” since the menu could be tried throughout February.
